2. Scope of this Legal Notice

This Legal Notice concerns the information published on zelthynutrition.com and the identification of its operator, as required by Portuguese Decree-Law no. 7/2004.

It does not govern the purchase of products. The contractual terms applicable to orders are set out in our Terms and Conditions, Return Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Legal Notice and those documents, the Terms and Conditions prevail.

Merely browsing this website does not constitute acceptance of any contractual terms. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions takes place when you place an order.

3. Information published on this website

We aim to keep all information published here accurate, complete and up to date. Occasional errors or outdated content may nonetheless occur. If you spot anything incorrect, please let us know at wecare@zelthynutrition.com so that we can correct it.

Informational content published on this website, including articles, guides and blog posts, does not constitute medical, nutritional, pharmaceutical or professional advice and is no substitute for consulting a qualified healthcare professional.

4. Product information and consumer rights

We present our products as accurately as possible. Images are for illustration only and colours may vary depending on the screen you use.

The mandatory information for each foodstuff, namely the product name, list of ingredients, allergens, net quantity, nutrition declaration, instructions for use and warnings, is available on the relevant product page before you complete your purchase, in accordance with Regulation (EU) no. 1169/2011.

If a product does not match the description provided, you retain in full the rights the law grants you, namely the legal guarantee of conformity under Decree-Law no. 84/2021, for a period of three years from delivery, and, if you are a consumer, the 14-day right of withdrawal set out in our Return Policy.

Nothing in this Legal Notice restricts, conditions or replaces those rights.

5. Food supplements and health information

The products we sell are foodstuffs, including food supplements, and are not medicinal products.

  • Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.
  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose stated on the label.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, have a diagnosed medical condition, or are about to start a diet or exercise programme, consult a healthcare professional before using any supplement.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

Alternative dispute resolution. Huxia, Lda. is not bound by membership of any consumer alternative dispute resolution body. That said, in the event of a consumer dispute you may refer the matter, in Portugal, to CIMAAL, the Algarve Consumer Dispute Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre, which has territorial jurisdiction over our registered office, or to any other authorised body, the full list of which is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

If you reside in another European Union Member State, in Norway or in Iceland, you may contact the European Consumer Centre in your country of residence, which provides free assistance in cross-border consumer disputes.

We may update this Legal Notice whenever appropriate. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.

Changes to this Legal Notice do not alter the contractual terms applicable to orders already placed, which are governed by the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of purchase.

12. Governing law

This Legal Notice is governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another European Union Member State, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

The courts of the consumer's place of domicile have jurisdiction over disputes.
